Out of Play Area Media

I've been building three audio-reactive games on a shared engine. They use your music as the input. Early prototypes — soft launch — from Out of Play Area Media. — John

A couple things before you tap inMP3s work great. Streaming apps don't.

Quick lay of the land. Any MP3 you've got on your phone will work — stuff in Files, iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, downloads, whatever. When the game asks for a song, your phone's file picker opens and you grab it. The one thing that won't work is music inside subscription apps like Apple Music or Spotify — those tracks are licensed for listening, not for handing to other apps. Native versions are on the roadmap.

  1. Pick any MP3 you already have on your phone or in a cloud drive — that's your track.
